Why?

If you don't already have a web site to promote your business, you really should consider doing so. A professional web site gives you a very low cost method of advertising to your potential customer base day and night, in full colour, with as much detail as you want to provide; and your message can be seen locally, nationally and internationally if that is of value to you. All at no extra cost. These days, statistics show that most "shoppers" start their search for goods by using the World Wide Web, and the younger your target audience, the more likely they are to be searching the web for the service or product they are looking for.

How?

Once you’ve decided that a web site from Value-web is what you need, we’ll start the ball rolling. We will pay you a visit at a time to suit you and do some data gathering. This meeting, which is likely to take a couple of hours, will comprise the following;

• Discussion about the design elements of your new web-site
• Agreement on domain name preferences
• Gathering of content to be presented on the site
• Collection of artwork, photographs and graphics (if any)
• Further digital photography of premises, staff, products etc. as required
• Written agreement for supply of our services

Using all the data collected, we will then return to our offices to begin the design and production of the draft version of the site. Having produced the draft site, we will publish it to a suitable domain name which we will purchase on your behalf. This is usually within a few of weeks.

We will then call you and ask you to take a look at the web-site on line (we will help you with this if you are at all unsure of what to do) and we will ask you to decide on any detail changes that may be required. We will then repeat this process once more in case of any last minute changes, before obtaining your proofing agreement for the site.

At this point, we will ask you to pay your £295 (or £375 for E-Commerce or Content Management). That being done, we will set up your free business e-mail for you. Both your web site and e-mail will then available to the general public and can be promoted.

At this stage we would recommend that you include the web name and e-mail on any of your literature, advertising, windows and signage and on the side of any company vehicles. In the meantime, we will ensure that your web site is promoted to all the major search engines to ensure that it is seen by as many new potential customers as possible.

To help you further, we will include a link to your web-site on our local services web site free of charge. This will have two benefits. Firstly, it may result in a direct contact by a browser of the services web site, and secondly (and this is a technical issue) it will provide a link to your site from elsewhere on the World Wide Web, which will improve the standing of your site with the major search engines meaning it will be seen more often.

Looking to the future; should you need to make any changes to the content on your web site after publishing, that’s no problem at all, however, we would make a small charge for these (see pricing details). Alternatively, ask about our Content Management System, available for a small additional payment.

The only other future costs you will need to consider are shown on our pricing page.
